Legal notice to Ajay Devgn over ‘Son of Sardar’

Fresh troubles for Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, as a senior lawyer has sent a legal notice to him for hurting the religious emotions of the Sikh community in his upcoming film ‘Son of Sardar’.

Navkiran Singh, a senior lawyer, has sent the notice after watching the official promo of the film released on YouTube. According to him Sikhs have been shown in ‘bad light’ in some scenes, and asked Ajay Devgn to remove such parts.

He mentioned in his notice that the content available on YouTube, which has comments like “Had there been no Sikhs, who would have invented abuses like ‘Teree Maan Dee-Teree Bhain Dee’.”

He further explained that in another part of the film, a dialogue says, “In case Sardars would not have been there then on whom would the jokes be made.”

The legal notice said, “Your (Ajay Devgn) official trailer on YouTube contains such material and the film may contain more.”

Navkiran Singh has requested Ajay Devgn to remove such dialogues from the film in public interest or else be ready to face legal action. He said that he will charge Ajay Devgn as well as all other stars working in the film on the criminal and civil side.

Meanwhile, Actor Ajay Devgn has one week to reply the legal notice issued to him.
