Mohammad Hafeez and Yuvraj Singh, the most impressing cricketers in Twenty20

The Punjab da Puttar, Yuvraj Singh, has once again helped India to level Twevnty20 series against Pakistan. Yuvraj’s superb 72 runs from just 36 balls with seven sixes and four fours was a treat to watch.

However, Paksitani captain Mohammad Hafeez was equally talented and a superb criketer. His batting is alsoa treat to watch for any cricket lover. Mohammad Hafeez made superb 61 in the first Twenty20 and strong 55 runs int eh second Twenty20. Mohammad Hafeez was named the Man-Of-The-Series for his superb batting show.

Yuvraj Singh has been named the Man-of-the-Match for his all-round performance in the second and final Twenty20 mathc.

The after match presentation:

Man of the Match for his best T20 score goes to Yuvraj Singh. He said, “Yesterday I was batting in the nets and I couldn’t middle a single ball, so I was trying to spend time in the middle. That yorker [which hit him on the boot] reminded me of Wasim Akram but that’s cricket, you got to take a few blows … we thought 160-170 was a good total but if MS and me stayed till the end we knew we could score more.”

And, the man who impressed everyone with his mind-blowing batting is the Man of the Series and he is Mohammad Hafeez.

Pakistan Cricket team captain Hafeez: “When we were bowling, we didn’t follow the basics, we bowled short of a length. the partnership between MS Dhoni and Yuvraj was the difference. In the first six overs we played very well but in the seventh-tenth over we didn’t score as much as we should have … we wanted Umar Akmal to have more time in the middle.”

Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni: “A lot depends on the youngsters bowling the last overs, I think they held their nerve nicely. they were feeling the pressure but they responded really well and executed the yorkers. When they wanted to bowl slower ones they did that. [While batting] we got off to a very good start from Gautam and Jinks … Yuvi was at his best, those big sixes and fours. We got ten runs more than what we would have been happy with. Overall it was good competition between the sides.”
