MS Dhoni may miss final ODI against Pakistan: Reports

As per latest reports, captain of team India, MS Dhoni may miss the third and final ODI against Pakistan played at Ferozshah Kotla, New Delhi on Sunday

Reports have said that MS Dhoni suffers a sore back. And, there is high possibility that he will miss the final battle with Pakistan. The news was later gets strong option when BCCI tweets, “Dinesh Karthik has been flown in as a back-up to MS Dhoni.”

In fact, MS Dhoni also cleared that he is not feeling 100%.

He said, “If at all somebody is doubtful, it’s me. I have a sore back and we have called Dinesh Karthik as back up.”

Further, when media asked Dhoni about Yuvraj’s absence from practice session, he said, “Since it was an optional practice session, Yuvraj did not come.”

When asked about who will lead team India, if he will not play the last ODI, Dhoni said, “Let’s hope that I play. We’ll see tomorrow.”

India is on the edge of another series defeat against Pakistan and the top order of the team is struggling to get their rhythm back. Openers like Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, and Yuvraj are not performing well.
