Everything is set for the royal reception of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Reports have said that this would be a grand mughal-themed reception for the newly wed Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
The big names invited fort he reception tomorrow would include UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, BJP leader Arun Jaitley, former cricketers Kapil Dev and Abbas Ali Baig.
The grand mughal themed reception is named as Dawat-e-Walima and is organized by Saif Ali Khan’s mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore.
Talking to media, an official from event management company Good Earth, Tipsy Anand said, “We are decorating the entire place. The theme is off-white and gold with mogra flowers. We have a stage set up inside and it is all going to be in mughal style. We have used antique props, about 200 years old for the decoration.”
Further, Tipsy said, “The reception will start around 8pm and we have been given a guest list of 500-600 people here.”
Reports have said that gorgeous actress Kareena Kapoor will wear wear a pink gharara or a pink-blue or green sari which is specially designed by fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Saif Ali Khan’s dress is designed by Raghavendra Rathore.
High security has been ordered in the surrounded areas of the palace.
A representative of a Proman securitytech said, “We are expecting a lot of politicians and B-town celebs so we will be taking extra precaution so that the guests don’t have trouble entering the venue. We will be only allowing people who are on the guest list.”
Just yesterday, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor got married officially after five year long dating each other. Saif Kareena Wedding sangeet and a grand party was organized at the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai last night.
Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri, actress Priety Zinta, filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Tusshar Kapoor and Salman Khan’s sister Alvira, Anil Kapoor with daughter Sonam were among the attendees at last night’s bash.
