With a raising threat over Pakistani Hindus, a mob of Muslims damaged a temple and attacked Hindus’ homes during an anti-Islam film protest, reports said.

The Pakistan Police has charged all accused Muslims under the country’s harsh blasphemy law, registering a blasphemy case against them for damaging a house of worship.

As per media information, while Muslims were protesting in Karachi against anti-Islam Film “Innocence of Muslims” on September 21, nine men, including Maulvi Habibur Rehman and his accomplices, ransacked some houses, vanished them and looted valuables.

All accused have abandoned, and police is in search of them, but securities have to deploy for safety of the Hindus living affected area.

“We are Pakistanis. We have never been to India. Let us live here,” a local resident has said, source said.

The temple was the Sri Krishna Bhagwan Mandir in Gulshan-e-Maymar area of Karachi and name of these accused have been in the complaint list of Police which have registered a case under 295-A of the Pakistan Penal Code, charging act of insulting religious feelings of any class in its religious beliefs.
