Nokia India debuts dual-SIM QWERTY Asha 205 Smartphone

Nokia India has introduced its new member of Asha-series, called ‘ Asha 205’, a low cost budget dual-SIM Smartphone in Indian market.

The device is priced at Rs. 3,499 and is slated to hit the store shelves on December 24, 2012.

The Nokia Asha 205 which hit worldwide launch with two -single SIM and Dual SIM variants has come in India with Dual SIM but along Nokia’s EasySwap Tech.

Featuring a full QWERTY keyboard with a 2.4-inch display, Asha 205 packs with special features- Series 40 Asha OS, Nokia Xpress Browser and also a dedicated Facebook button.

As part of other features, Nokia’s device sports 0.3MP camera, 64MB built-in storage expandable with microSD card slot up to 32GB, FM, 2G connectivity with GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and EDR with Slam.

With excellent Nokia’s EasySwap, users can change SIM cards without having to switch off the device.

Nokia Asha 205 which is to available for Rs. 3,499 in  Cyan and Orange colours from Christmas-eve of this December 2012 has offered pre-installed apps like Google Talk, Yahoo, Facebook , Windows Live Messenger, eBuddy, Hotmail, Gmail, Nokia Mail, Direct Email and 40 free games from EA.
