Officials to procure a cadaver liver for Vilasrao : Modi

Ailing former Maharashtra CM and senior Congress leader Vilasrao Deshmukh, who is admitted in Chennai based Global Health City super-specialty hospital for a liver transplant due to liver ailment, is now immediately procure a liver on higher priority by Chief Minister Narendra Modi

On Sunday, source said, Modi asked Gujarat health department officials to give complete medical help to Mr. Deshmukh whose health condition is critical failing several organs last week two kidneys were dysfunctional

He directed officials to arrange liver of a dead person for the ailing 67 year-old Minister as there several cadaver donations held in Tamil Nadu.

The Union minister has suffering from cirrhosis of liver and has been shifting from Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai to Chennai. From last few days, he has put on life support.
