Pak President Asif Ali Zardari addresses Parliament for fifth time

Making an amazing history to be first elected head of the state in fifth address to joint sitting of Pakistan‘s Parliament, the Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday has record an achievement for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

While Zardari on Saturday afternoon received this great honour, there was a huge criticizing response from opposition parties.

They reacted by shouting “shame, shame,” for Zardari with slogan by opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar of the PML-N party loudly said “Which Pakistan Zardari was talking about. The Pakistan we live in is in a state of misery.”

Calling Zardari a “ridiculous” as accused him of failing the people, democratically elected government faced crucial embarrassment in Parliament.

Zardari convicted the mistakes of his govt. made in Balochistan province for that he apologized, but he also praised PM Gilani for his political wisdom and restrain. “Healing wounds of the past is a lengthy process. But we are determined to respond to the aspirations of our brothers and sisters in Balochistan,” he said.

As per him, his government dealt with terrorism, increase economic growth by hiking tax collections, exports, and remittance and also successfully established a democratic system, the place to voice freely.

During Speech, he addressed fare relations with India and to be better concrete steps has been taken for increasing bilateral trade, but first need to lighten on the stressing issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
