Following death of Delhi braveheart 23-year-old-girl, another gangrape case came in front from Patiala district of Punjab.
A teenaged rape victim of Patiala who alleged that she was gang-raped in November committed suicide at her house in Badshahpur village by consuming some poisonous substances.
In her suicide note, 18-year-old- victim blamed police for not registering case for over a month against three young rapists who gang-raped her and still openly roaming.
Even Police also humiliated her by calling her to the police station repeatedly and asking uncomfortable questions, allegedly to compromise with these rapists, victim mentioned in her suicide note.
Two accused are Balwinder Singh and Gurpreet Singh who raped the victim on the night of Diwali, reports said. It has been said that there was a woman identified as Shinderpal Kaur with whom connivance, rapists raped the girl.
Punjab Police dismissed ASI Nasib Singh who was in-charge of Badshahpur police station has arrested near urban estate area on Saturday, for his role of abatement to suicide of the gang-rape victim.
Another sub-inspector Gurcharan Singh and Deputy Superintendent of Police Harpreet Singh have dismissed from service.
Meanwhile, a senior officer’s team deployed headed by Additional Director General of Police (Crime) Jaswinder Singh to visit the village for special investigation over the rape case.
