The Congress president Sonia Gandhi today clearly said that it is upto Congress secretary Rahul Gandhi to decide himself whether to participate a larger role in the party.
The reports said while asking from her about the chances of Rahul deploying as President or Vice-president before the 2104 polls, she said, “No one can take a decision on his behalf. It is for Rahul to decide, he alone can take a decision on this.”
On Wednesday, former Vice-President Hamid Ansari, UPA candidate for VP polls filed his nomination paper for a second term in the Parliament House where Sonia Gandhi also presented.
Her recent statement a hitting move for senior Congress leaders like Digvijay Singh and Salman Khurshid who blow a controversial fact over their remarks on role of Rahul in party.
Rahul’s name always takes for post of Prime Minister as a youth leader. And this time 2014 general elections, much talk is about this matter, being projected Rahul as the prime ministerial candidate, if he will agree.
Earlier, Law Minister, Salman Khurshid commented on Rahul and said, “Until now, we have only seen cameos of his thoughts and ideas…but he has not weaved all of this into a grand announcement. This is a period of waiting.”
Otherside, Digvijaya Singh assured that Rahul will play am important role in Congress Party.
