A controversial fact blow out when Law Minister Salman Khurshid critically remarked on Congress general Secretary Rahul Gandhi that he is playing a role of ‘cameo’ in party which is in waiting mode to run on straight track.

“Until now, we have only seen cameos of his thought and ideas like democratizing elections to the Youth Congress. But he has not weaved all of this into a grand announcement. This is a period of waiting,” Khurshid told reporters in an interview.

Khurshid’s comment gave another opportunity to BJP to attack Congress as today said Rahul has “no clear convergent thinking” and if there is doubt in senior minister about party as a directionless, then the country is in a move without having “aim”.

“ What is surprising is that it is coming from a senior minister of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, which is led by Congress from last nine years and if he says that Congress is directionless then country is in a state of drift,” BJP leader Ravi Shakar Prasad told reporters, confirming with Khurshid’s prediction.
Khurshid is the senior minister of UPA who are in party from last nine years and his recent reported comment is really a shocking fact for all.
Showing an embarrassing situation for UPA form his comment, Khurshid, in his sudden changing move, on Tuesday addressed a press conference and said the media should not be taken his statements on Rahul Gandhi and the Congress in a negative way.
“In that context my urging of young and new leadership of our party to prepare themselves to lead from the front, to prepare themselves to take on the challenge of our times is something you must see in the right context rather than in the negative context,” Khurshid clarified his statements.
“My urging and my request to you is please read it (his remarks) in a positive context”, he further added that presently government is facing global challenges as well and local domestic issues, and these all are determined in front of media with transparency.
