Babu Singh Kushwaha came the Congress being hoped of protection after Expelled by BSP, But his plea to join the Congress party was turned down at the time when AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi refunded his plea and said, “We said you will go to jail.”
Although Babu Singh Kushwaha had approached the Congress before joining the BJP but the Congress refused to take the expelled BSP minister. Rahul told him all this when he was addressing a political rally in Pipraich in eastern Uttar Pradesh district.
Kushwaha is that who raided by CBI under the issue of fraud in multi crore funds of the NRHM. Attacking the BJP minister, Rahul told gathering, “BJP leaders sold the name of “Ram” to get votes and now “a corrupt minister” like Kushwaha has bought them all.”
While Gandhi asked, “But who do you think took him in?”, once more the people roared back, “BJP.”
Rahul stated the rally, “Senior BJP leader Advaniji took out a yatra against corruption. But a few days back whom did the BJP take into their party?” “Yes, they have inducted Babu Singh Kushwaha, who is at the top in the race of corruption in Uttar Pradesh.”
He attacked the BJP for taking “a corrupt minister like Kushwaha” despite their campaign against corruption.
Crediting to the Indian Youth Congress over explosion made Kushwaha’s murky dealings under NRHM, Rahul Gandhi revealed, “Indian Youth Congress dare to speak about corruption.”
According to him, Kushwaha, having relationship with Mayawati’s ‘magic elephant’, was amongst the top leaders who fed the “magical note-eating elephant in Lucknow, poor man money.
In fact Elephant is BSP’s poll symbol pointing to the Kushwaha induction in BJP, Rahul aggressively told, “The BSP only gave you laathi, dandaa and Khushwaha, the BJP welcomed tainted Kushawaha with open arms.”
Apart its Smajwadi party also covered under Rahul’s attack, “The Samajwadi Party used jaati to get your votes, and what sort of government did they usher in There were gangsters in police stations, and common citizens couldn’t register complaints,” Rahul added.
