Reebok India’s ex-MD arrest for fraud among ex-COO

After a special investigation by Delhi Police, the former MD and COO of sportswear maker Reebok India, has arrested on Thursday, alleging to be cheat with a loss of Rs 870 crore in company.

Along with Reebok India’s former MD Subhinder Singh Prem and former chief operating officer Vishnu Bhagat, the police have also arrested other persons Sanjay Mishra, Prashant Bhatnagar and Surakshit Bhatt, under the charge of fraud, criminal and cheating conspiracy.

As per Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhupinder Singh, All the accused would presented before court tomorrow and after that it will decide whether to take them under Police custody or not.
“We will seek police remand. All these accomplices were not co-operating with the police,” a police official told reporters.

Reports said that the accused were charged for cheating the company by making fake distributors and bills across the country over the last five years. And after the matter came into existence, the company filled a Fir against them, and sacked from the company.

It has been found that Singh along with Bhat had made a biggest fraud with company, gaining profits by renting four warehouses, delivering goods without any indication to seniors.
