The largest car maker company Renault India’s new diesel variant “Fluence” runs on platform of car market segment as company launched its new variant of premium sedan today.
Fluence will available at priced Rs 15.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), powered by 1.5 litre diesel engine offering a 20.4 kilometre per litre mileage.
This was the first Renault model that launched in India. The new diesel variant of Renault India model is likely be a strong rival of car market segment.
Other models like Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Laura and Toyota Corolla Diesel are stand in the queue as bottleneck in road of Fluence, with offering same price between Rs 15.22 lakh and Rs 16.41 lakh.
Introducing company’s future plans to sell around 30,000 cars in India, Company’s Managing Director Marc Nassif said, “Fluence was the first offering from Renault in India. The new upgraded variant is about our commitment to the Indian market and is a result of the feedback we received from our customers.”
To follow its plan successfully, Renault India is now increasing scope of about 100 dealership networks from 43 at present. It has also reported that Renault India is likely to establish its new plant in Gujarat, but still no detail has published by company.
“We had announced plans to roll out five products by the end of 2012. The next in line is our crossover Duster, which will be launched before Diwali, and it will be followed by one more product,” Renault India’s Manager said.
