Micromax’s Funbook is ready to make a foray into the tablet PC market by a good margin just at Rs. 6,499.
This 7 inch Android 4.0 tablet that made at Haridwar, India and launched yesterday, offers 1.22 GHz processor with dual core Mali graphics processor, 0.3 MP VGA front camera and 4 GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB.
Funbook that run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, is just like a specific-rich device at reasonable price.
Micromax, the India made Company, comes with its first Funbook tablet with attractive features, targeting youth at schools, colleges and high educational institution by offering educative tablet.
Introducing Funbook, Micromax CEO Deepak Mehrotra said, “Fun and education are two important elements of a youth’s life…it is poised to change the way fun and learning is consumed on the go.”
According to him, the firm had linked up with educational institution and content providers and customer has just pay Rs.799 for accessing the multimedia content from their partners of a particular class.
Micromax’s slim, capacitive educative device, seeming as a biggest rival for Govt.’s Aakash tablet PCs at priced Rs.2,276, will available for first look in 50 cities.
