Former Pakistani captain and present coach Inzamamul Haq on Monday said that master blaster Sachin Tendulkar should have announced his retirement from the One Day international after the India Pakistan ODI series starting from Tuesday in Bangalore.
Talking to Pakistani press, Inzamam said, “Sachin’s early retirement has marked the end of a golden period of the game.”
Meanwhile, Sachin announced his retirement from One Day international on Sunday just few hours before the selections of team India for the Pakistan series.
The legendry cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has 18,426 in ODIs and almost 15,470 in Tests runs under his belt and scored 49 ODI hundreds.
Sachin Tendulkar has served for the country for 22 years 90 days.
