Shahrukh Khan: Always wanted to play James Bond

The journey of James Bond films has completed their 50-years in Hollywood today and the Bollywood actor, Shahrukh Khan has said that he always wanted to play the such as the 007 spy.

Shahrukh Khan, 46-years-old actor, has worked in action packed films like ‘Don’ and ‘Ra.One’, posted on twitter to show his desire to play such role.

Shahrukh posted on twitter, “I am a big James Bond fan. Always wanted to play a character like him… but am told… I am not smooth with guns or women… bah.”

Further, Shahrukh also posted his most loved dialogue from the 1965 Bond film “Thunderball” starring Sean Connery.

Shahrukh wrote, “My favourite Bond lines ‘JB: That gun, it looks more for a woman. You know much about guns, Mr Bond? JB: No, but I know a little about women”

The first James Bond series film was released on October 5, 1962, “Dr No”.

Later, James Bond films has become one of the most successful films and earned much money as well as loved allover the world. It had as much as $5 billion in 22 Bond Films.

The last James Bond film was “Quantum of Solace” release in 2008.

The latest Bond film “Skyfall” is likely to premiere on October 23 in the UK and November 2 in India.
