The super star of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, the brand ambassador of West Bengal, is set to attract tourists and promote Bengal as a tourist place, in a new promotional video.
Shahrukh Khan is the brand ambassador of West Bengal and the video was released on Saturday.
King Khan, Shshrukh Khan signed as the brand ambassador of Bengal by the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress regime 2011. He is the co-owner of IPL cricket team, Kolkata Knight Riders.
Meanwhile, the new promotional video presents places of Bengal such as Darjeeling, Digha, Kali temple at Dakshineswar and Kalighat, traditional dances of Bengal and the Sunderbans, among others.
The new promotional film also has famous Rabindrasangeet Banglar Mati Banglar Jol in the background with Shah Rukh saying: “There is something special about Bengal.”
New agencies have said that the film is directed by National Award winner Anirudhha Roy Choudhury.
