The murder case of social activist Shehla Masood turns into a new twist while a sources report revealed that love triangle and jealousy could be the motive behind this murder.
On August 16, 2011, while Shehla Masood , a RTI activist used to work on police reforms, environment and wildlife issues, was getting ready to take apart in an anti-corruption agitation, her dead body was found outside her home in Bhopal.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh and his associate Sanjay Gupta, along with interior designer Zahida Pervez.
However the main reason behind Shehla murder is seemed to be a local BJP leader’s proximity with both Shehla Masood and Zahida Pervez.
Reportedly said, Zahida was the person who met Shehla to the local BJP leader, but after sometimes due to their growing proximity, she became jealous.
In motive of get rid of Shehla from her way, Zahida hired three contract killers for a sum of Rs 2 lakh to who acted upon her dialogue and killed Shehla.
Zahida has been arrested by CBI in connection with the murder on Tuesday, on basis of the call records of Zahida around the time of Shehla’s murder prove that she was in touch with alleged contract killer Shaqib alias Danger.
The CBI has tightened its investigation by arresting four accused persons allegedly involve in connection with case. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh has also taken under CBI custody for investigations over his alleged complicity in the murder of Shehla Masood.
