Couldn’t have made ‘Sarkar’ without Balasaheb Thackeray, says Ram Gopal Varma

The Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma has said that his films ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’ would not have been possible without Bal Thackeray and he even added some dialogues in these films which were inspired by the Shiv Sena supremo.

Shiv Sena Chief and founder Thackeray died on Saturday.

Ram Gopal Varma tweets, “If Godfather was not there, I wouldn’t have made ‘Sarkar’…if Bala Saheb wasn’t there, I couldn’t have made ‘Sarkar’ (sic).” Read more

Bollywood’s condoles tweets on Bal Thackeray’s death

The breaking news is that Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray has left the world on Saturday afternoon at 3:33 pm after protracted illness. He was 86-years-old.

The entire Bollywood is trying to pay their last tribute to, affectionately called The Tiger, Bal Thackeray. They opted Twitter to show their emotions.

PM Manmohan Singh condoles Shiv Sena Supermo Bal Thackeray’s death

Breaking news state that the Prime Minister of the country Manmohan Singh expressed his condolences over the death of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray and cancelled his dinner with the BJP leaders on Saturday night.

In a statement, Manmohan Singh said, “For him the interests of Maharashtra were particularly important and he always strived to inculcate a sense of pride in its people. He founded the Shiv Sena and built the party into a formidable force in the State politics with his strong leadership.” Read more
