Disproportionate Assets Case: CBI remands Jaganmohan to 14-days judicial custody

Leading profile minister YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is under a 14-day judicial remand of CBI alleged in disproportionate assets and spent first night in Hyderabad’s Chanchalguda prison on Monday, has failed to get bail from court.

The court has dismissed both plea- one is Jagan Reddy’s for bail and other is CBI for Reddy’s custody for further probing.

Disproportionate assets case: High alert ordered as Jagan Mohan Reddy to appear before CBI court

Amid tight security in Hyderabad, 39-year-old YSR Congress Party leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy to be appear before a CBI court today, ahead of being arrested in the alleged disproportionate assets case on Sunday.

In a move of protesting against party leader arrest, other party members has called for a “bandh” in Andhra Pradesh on Monday, appealing to move in a peaceful manner.

CBI tightens grip over Jagan for 2nd day in arrest case

Eight hours CBI’s continuous questioning was not enough to solve the August 2011 disproportionate assets case, under which Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is accused of having involvement.

Once again for the second round of questioning, Raddy presented before CBI on Saturday after a long questioning about the alleged irregularities with regard to the Vadarevu and Nizampatnam Ports and Industrial Corridor (VANPIC) project on yesterday, according to sources.
