Finally new Tatkal booking system starts
Common man who are facing much difficulties in booking of Tatkal tickets due to advance booking in bulk by touts, has now been relaxed as the Tatkal scheme is going to be revised.
Introducing lots of measures in form of ensuring persons a well processed Tatkal scheme, the Indian railways will start booking of Tatkal train tickets at 10 am instead of 8 am under revised scheme. Read more
Delhi Airport Metro Express to resume ops in August: Govt
As per latest report, reacting over its decision to suspend service of the India’s first public-private Delhi Airport Metro, the Union Urban Development Ministry today announced Line Station of Metro Express to be functional again in August after necessary repairs.

Indian Railways not to impose service tax from July 1, says Railway Minister Mukul Roy
The railway fares that had been hiked from July1under the new service tax regime, has postponed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by three months, on request of Railway Minister Mukul Roy, according to source report.
“No hike has been effected on rail passenger fares from Sunday,” an official told reporters on Monday. Read more
