Calif. Man behind Anti-Islam Film back in prison

The California man who was handed in an anti-Muslim inflammatory film “Innocence of Muslims” that resulted Middle East deadly violence was on Wednesday sentenced to one year in prison.

Mark Basseley Youssef admitted that he had used several false alias and accused for violation of his probation order from a 2010 bank fraud case, also accepted to obtain a fraudulent California driver’s license under a false name. Read more

US federal court on Thursday ruled its verdict following further Nakoula’s imprisonment as violating eight probation terms including 2010 cheque fraud conviction and lying to his probation officers and using aliases. Read more

Innocence of Muslims Protest 150x150 Pakistan blocks cell phones on prophet protest dayAccording to latest news, Pakistan has blocked cell phone service in big cities as a move to prevent militants from using mobile phone to detonate bombs during a national day of protest against an anti-Islam film made by a United States producer, Innocence of Muslims.

News have said that an interior ministry official told media that cell phones blocked in around 15 cities including major cities like Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

The ministry official said that the service would be resumed at 6pm local time. Read more

It is further said that the mob set some vehicles on fire.
