ICC World Twenty20: Sri Lanka beats Zimbabwe 82 runs, six wickets for Ajantha Mendis
The opening match of the ICC World Twenty20 was played between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Played at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota.
Sri Lanka won the match by 82 runs but the day was made special by Ajantha Mendis, who created history for his team by taking six wickets for just 8 runs in 4 overs.

The young cricketer from Team India, Virat Kohli must be the happiest man on earth on Saturday nigh, as his dream run in the last one years play helped him to win the ODI Cricketer of the Year award, however, Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara won three awards including the Cricketer of the Year, in the ICC annual awards.
