In a race to be the strongest telecom firm in fast strengthening high speed broadband internet services, Bharti Airtel is on the top by signing a Rs 907 crore deal with Qualcomm Asia Pacific, fourth-generation (4G) broadband venture.
According to the deal, around 49% stake in Qualcomm Asia Pacific’s Indian broadband wireless access (BWA) entities with licences to offer 4G data services in four circles of Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana and Kerala, has been acquired by Bharti Airtel, being fully owned by 2014. Read more
