Thousands Egypt’s Islamists rally behind Morsi in Cairo

Thousands of Egyptians marched in Cairo with Egyptian flags and green Islamist emblems on Saturday in support of President Mohamed Morsi’s constitution, the one who granted himself sweeping powers through a decree.

Calling Morsi’s opponents “enemies of God and Islam” , Muslim Brotherhood and its ultra-orthodox Salafi allies came forward with larger rallies to wash out amid opposition protests.

“The people support the president’s decision!” they chanted outside Cairo University, urged people to come out in support of Islamist law. Read more

Morsi’s Decree Bloody Clashes continue, Judiciary Meet today

The most protesting President Mohamed Morsi’s controversial decrees rocked with bloody clashes between Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and Morsi’s opponents, burned Muslim Brotherhood offices.

Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party’s (FJP) offices were torched in the canal cities of Ismailiya and Port Said. And first clash hit out in the Nile Delta city of Damanhoor, left a Muslim teenager dead and more than 40 people wounded, as per media reports.

On the third day of clashes, along with opponents, Judges Club of the country has also called to take part in protests in Cairo against the President’s decree that is an act of ‘a power grab’ and an ‘assault’ on the branch’s independence. Read more

Voilence erupt across Egypt over Morsi’s new powers decree

Amid opposition of Egypt’s Islamist President Mohammed Morsi’s self grating sweeping power, more than thousands of protesters called a violent protest in cities across the Egypt on Friday including central Cairo.

Several Muslims’ office have been burned as angry protesters along with Egyptian political leaders clashed with Morsi’s supporters as he came to take office charge, hit out a most violent protest in country.

Mosri’s Thursday decree is threatening a biggest war between his Muslim Brotherhood and liberals who fear a new dictatorship. Read more
