Fresh Auto sector news reveals that Maruti Suziki India [MSI], the country’s largest car manufacturer, has today announced to increase the car prices by up to Rs 17,000 after the recent hike in the excise duty in the Budget.
It is said in reports that the hike in car prices will affect Maruti’s models ranging from small car segment M800 to mid-sized cars like Sedan SX4.
While talking to media, MSI Managing Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Mr. Mayank Pareek said, “There has been an average increase in prices of our vehicles by 1.75 per cent after the Budget.” Read more
