India and Pakistan Saturday signed an agreement that will ease the visa restrictions on people from both countries.
The agreement was signed between Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna, who is on a three-day visit to Pakistan.

The new visa policy between India and Pakistan, to be signed Saturday, has eased restrictions on visitors from both the countries.
There will be a single-entry visitor visa for a maximum period of six months but the stay cannot exceed three months at a time and for five places (currently limited to three places).

The much-awaited visa agreement between India and Pakistan could be signed Saturday, Indian sources said here Friday.
The visa agreement could be a game changer for people-to-people contact between the two neighbours as visa rules for specified categories could be eased by both sides.
