Amid rejection on the “ban” on popular websites in Kashmir, on Wednesday internet disrupted service hit out, accessing problems have disturbed thousands of Kashmir mobile users especially Facebook, micro blogging Twitter and YouTube.
Many users complained that from last week they had not been able to access Facebook, YouTube or Twitter account on mobile as well as desktop using broadband services in the Kashmir. Read more
According to latest news, Pakistan has blocked cell phone service in big cities as a move to prevent militants from using mobile phone to detonate bombs during a national day of protest against an anti-Islam film made by a United States producer, Innocence of Muslims.
News have said that an interior ministry official told media that cell phones blocked in around 15 cities including major cities like Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
The ministry official said that the service would be resumed at 6pm local time. Read more
