Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief Nitin Gadkari is ready to get his second three-year term as early as BJP failed to position another one on the President post, reports said.
The saffron party’s chief Gadkari is in full support of RSS and BJP delegation as formalities are likely to be going on way of completion.
According to reports, name of Gadkari as New President will expect to be announced by the end of January, with a major upper hand of RSS in party matters.
Things are expected to be gone positive for Gujarat CM Narendra Modi whose target is at the PM post in the 2014 General Elections.
It is like a miracle for Gadkari as his controversial Purti Group matter had ended all hopes of his second term.
BJP Chief was the co-promoter of Purti Group and after disclosures of irregularities in his companies, he was on headlines last year, lacking his chances of electing for a second term as a President.
Meanwhile, following Purti Group irregularities case, several senior party leaders, including Yashwant Sinha and LK Advani, complained against a second term for Gadkari.
For Congress, Gadkari’s fresh term would seem to be the major weapon to attack in the party in upcoming election.
