Yahoo Cricket app 150x150 Yahoo introduces cricket app for Windows phoneIn yet another achievement by Internet major Yahoo, it has announced the introduction of a cricket app for Windows Phone users in India.

Further, in a statement issued by the company, it said, “The app, available for free on the Windows marketplace offers a slew of features and user-friendly interaction for the user to follow live matches, and also keep a tab on the recent and upcoming ones.”

Meanwhile, the Yahoo India had announced that the app will have live scores including detailed ball-by-ball commentary which can be followed by fall-of wickets, 4s and 6s; an attractive scoreboard view which allows the user to browse through the batting line up, fall of wickets and a complete chronology of how a match progressed.

After the launch of new app from Yahoo! Cricket, Windows Phone users will now be able to catch all the international cricket matches on their mobile devices and they can also enjoy the Indian Premier League [IPL Series] live on their Windows Phones.

In addition, the company statement said, “On a non-match day, the app will connect the user to specially created photo-galleries, latest news articles on the game, player and team profiles, as well as results of completed matches, and schedules of upcoming ones.”

In the meantime, the new app was developed at the R&D centre in Bangalore, this is the 3rd cricket app released by Yahoo!
