Dev Anand’s ashes to be brought back to India

As per the fresh news, Indian theatrical Dev Anand who passed away in London just three days ago due to a heart attack will be cremated in London. The news was confirmed by the family members of the evergreen Bollywood actor.

According to the statement issued by the family members to the media, the family of Dev Anand has confirmed that the superstar’s ashes will be flown back to Mumbai.

While talking to media, a family member said, “We are now in a position to confirm that a cremation ceremony will be taking place in London, followed by a memorial gathering and tribute in the UK Capital. In due course, Mr. Anand’s ashes will be taken back to India, where a major ceremony of remembrance will be held in Mumbai, the Capital of the Indian Film Industry.”

Hrithik Roshan turns director for ‘Krissh’ sequel

According to latest Bollywood news, the so called dancing king of Bollywood and heartthrob Hrithik Roshan has finally decided to step behind the camera to assist his father producer Rakesh Roshan in the sequel to 2006 superhero film “Krissh”.

In the meantime, the news was confirmed by Rakesh Roshan, saying, “Hrithik always helps me out whenever we work together.”

However, the first schedule of the “Krissh’ sequel, also starring Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Chopra, started off Thursday and since Hrithik Roshan was not part of it, so the actor decided to try his hands in direction of the film.

Australian All-rounder Andrew Symonds enters ‘Big Boss 5′ house

According to the latest reports from the house of Bigg Boss 5, the big Australian cricket all-rounder Andrew Symonds is the latest celebrity in India’s version of Big Brother, Big Boss 5.

The Australian cricketer reached at the western city of Mumbai, where the Big Boss house is, on Tuesday morning.

In the meantime, Andrew is the first international cricketer to enter the Bigg Boss 5 house and he is “hoping to have a lot of fun” and learn more about Indian culture, Andrew said.

Punjab: FIR registered against Sarpanch who slapped woman

As per the fresh news from Punjab, an FIR has been launched against the Shiromani Akaali Dal Sarpanch who slapped a woman teacher.
