Ravi Rampaul 231x300 India v/s West Indies: West Indies beat India by 16 runs in 3rd ODIIn a very dramatic way, India had lost the 3rd ODI match against touring team West Indies by 16-runs. The 3rd ODI was played at Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera in Gujarat.

Ravi Rampaul was the leading wicket taker and was later named as the man of the match. He took 4 wickets for 57 runs in his 8.5 overs including the important wickets of Indian captain Virender Sehwag and opener Gautam Gambhir for the first two balls of his spell.

Talking to media after winning the match, Ravi Rampaul said, “I would say it was about getting early breakthroughs.”

Further, the 27-year-old bowler from West Indies said, “My two visits for the Champions League have helped. The key to bowling on these pitches is to keep line and length, bowl wicket to wicket.”

India lost half of their team on just 105 runs on the board, once again, Rohit Sharma tried to hit some score but his bad luck, he was out on 95 runs in the 44th over of the match.

Earlier, a perfect half-century by Marlon Samuels (58 off 93) and cameos by Darren Sammy (41 off 17) and Andre Russell (40 off 18) helped West Indies put up a challenging 260 for 5 wickets.

The Windies innings in rollicking fashion, hitting 43 runs in the last two overs. West Indies pummelled 52 runs in the last three overs, 73 in the last five and 93 in the last seven overs of their innings.
