The Indian Premier League is on, and in the first match, Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets.

The second match of the league will be played today between Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Garden today.

Both the teams are equally balanced and cricket lovers are expecting a high voltage match today night. Gautam Gambhir will lead Kolkata Knight Riders and hard-hitter Virender Sehwag will lead Delhi Daredevils.

Delhi Daredevils is under pressure today as it will miss some of its senior player in IPL 5 match today. Delhi Daredevils have players like Sehwag, who is capable to change the game within 2-3 overs.

Though, Delhi Daredevils will play with Mahela Jayawardene, Kevin Pietersen and David Warner as they are busy playing for their respective countries. New Zealand’s Ross Taylor is also unavailable for Delhi Daredevils after he got injured during the third test amtch against South Africa.

Now, the Kolkata Knight Riders, have a plus point. They have some superb batsman who are in good form nowadays. Captain Gambhir has to prove his batting today. KKR has players like Jacques Kallis, Brendon McCullum.

Talking to media, the KKR bowling coach Wasim Akram said, “Trevor Bayliss has immense knowledge of the game (T20). The side is looking balanced under him. The biggest secret of this side is every member is enjoying each other’s company.”

Of course, Virender Sehwag, the captain and if he is set at the center, no bowler can challenge his batting. He is a real player to watch in KKR vs DD match today. Irfan Pathan would be interesting to watch, showing good performance with bat and ball in recent matches. Robin Bisht, Aaron Finch, Andre Russell, Venugopal Rao will be key for Delhi.

Kolkata Knight Riders:

Captain Gautam Gambhir, he is not doing much with his bat in recent matches, but hope better performance in IPL 5.
