BillionaIndia cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who has recovered from cancer, says he can’t wait to step on the field for the two Twenty20s against New Zealand slated for September 8 and 11.
Yuvraj will be making his comeback to international cricket with the two Twenty20s after surviving cancer. The matches will also help him to test his fitness ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup in Sri Lanka from September 18.

Sarabjit Singh, an Indian national on death row, is all set to be released by the Pakistani government, his lawyer Awais Sheikh says.
Sheikh has said that as per his information, the Pakistani government has decided to release Sarabjit Singh, Online news agency reported Friday.
Sheikh further said he hopes that Sarabjit Singh would be released before Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to Pakistan.

In blistering criticism of the Karnataka government for looking the other way when iron ore in the state was being illegally mined, transported and exported, the Supreme Court Friday ordered a CBI probe into the illegal extraction and export of 50.7 lakh tonnes of iron ore from the state’s forest areas from January 2009 to May 2010.
The apex court forest bench headed by Justice Aftab Alam, directed a CBI probe while accepting the report of its central empowered committee on environmental matters recommending the probe.
