The action packed film of action hero Ajay Devgn and Tamil actress Tamannaah, ‘Himmatwala’, is all set to release.
The film is the much awaited film of filmmaker Sajid Khan and he introduced the cast and the production to media during grand launch of the film’s first trailer at Gaiety Galaxy in Bandra, Mumbai January 24.
During the launch event, UTV head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapoor and producer Ronnie Screwala were also present.
Talking to media, Sajid Khan said that 2013 release of ‘Himmatwala’ is much different from the original released in 1983 featuring Jeetendra and Sridevi in the lead role.
Sajid has brought the rights of original ‘Himmatwala’ but said Ajay Devgn’s ‘Himmatwala’ has no resemblance to the old one.
The trailer of the films shows us a glimpse of Mahesh Manjrekar and Paresh Rawal playing key roles in the film. This would be a typical masala movie with full of romance, action, comedy and drama.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha plays a cameo in the film.
Producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor said, “Sajid and Ajay are a spectacular combination. We are projecting the film as a family entertainer. It’s a family entertainer.”
