Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has recently said in an interview that he took almost four months to say yes to ‘Special Chabbis’ as he did not understand the script, which carries an important message too.

Further, Akshay told media that the film is based on a real-life incident that took place in the 1980s.
He said, “My role is of a very simple man and how his life is shaken up. What happens to a common man and to what limit can he go? The film is based on that and it is based on a real story, this happened in 1986-87.”
The film, ‘Special Chabbis’ is directed by Neeraj Panday also features Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill and Kajal Aggarwal.
The story of the film is an about 26 men who rob rich businessmen and industrialists by posing as CBI and income tax officials.
The actor told media that the film carries a special message for the viewers.
He said, “Through this film, we want to tell everyone to be very careful and alert. There are huge posters of bogus police at Juhu. When you hire a housemaid or servant, you should know about them to avoid being conned or being taken for a ride. This is the small moral of the story.”
