India Ford Motor Co recalls 140,000 Cars

As per latest tech news, all the popular models of Ford which performed in India’s competitive small-car market and were manufactured as away as 2008 are recalling back by India Ford Motor Co. Reason is to have some defects that may causes of fires and other dangerous problems such as brake fail and reduce riding performance.

Reports said that the company announced to call back and examine around 140,000 cars, out of which 111,000 will be of Ford Figo and Classic petrol engine models manufactured and sold in India for a faulty rear twist beam defects, not to replace. And another 10,000 addition vehicles will recall by company in South Africa.

Ford claims that, power steering hose of 17,655 Figo and Classic cars which were manufactured between 2010 and 2011 of February will also replace, in case of oil leakage, causing area fumes.

Following other auto manufacturing companies, Ford has hit a biggest recall in Indian market segment, that surely impact over its revenue and cost.

However, for avoiding any harmful incident due to rear defects and a oil leakage power steering hose, Ford India is continuously in contact with dealerships of showrooms and solving the customers problems by replacing.
