The much awaited Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’ film has recently released its Disco song, which was a remake of Pakistani pop singer Nazia Hassan’s hit ’80s song.

Now, the news which makes this film more interesting it that, Kajol will also dance on a track in the film. The lead roles in ‘Student Of The Year’ were played by debutant Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.

Kajol was last seen in 2012 in Toonpur Ka Superrhero film.

Talking to media, sources said, “In the number, Kajol will be seen doing the hook step (a primary step that is repetitively used) with the boys. Like a true professional, she wrapped up her part within a couple of hours of walking into the sets. When Kajol was shooting, everyone, including Karan, was in awe because she looked absolutely smashing.”

However, when asked to Karan Johar about Kajol’s item number, he said, “Yes, when Kajol was shooting her portion, I was only looking at her. Her presence is electrifying. She has always been my lucky mascot. We had a ball when she was around.”

A reporter asked Karan, How did he get her to agree? Karan Johar said, “Kajol and I have such a connection that we don’t have to request each other for anything. I just said, ‘I’m shooting tomorrow, will you be there?”

He said, “No, she just came in, rehearsed for a while and picked up the steps quickly. For Varun and Sidharth, it was a great feeling to be dancing with her, since they have worked as assistant directors on her films.”
