The god of Cricket, Sachin Tendulakr has recently announced his retirement from ODIs, but Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun was among those picked for Mumbai’s u-14 squad on Sunday.
Now, the 15-member squad will move to Ahmedabad to play West Zone tournament starting from January 20 to February 1.
Arjun Tendulkar, 13-years-old, had made his mark in local cricket tournaments and he is considered as an all-rounder in the team.
Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun is a left-hander middle order batsman and bowls a medium pacer. Arjun has hit 124 runs knock in his recent match.
On the other hand, Sachin Tendulkar said that Arjun needs to left alone. Sachin said, “Like any other parent I feel extremely happy & proud that he is part of Mumbai U-14 team. His hard work has paid off. I hope that people leave him alone to enjoy this beautiful game as a normal member of the team.”
