Live: Baba Ramdev to end fast today, may leave for Haridwar

Baba Ramdev who yesterday marched towards parliament for his demand of bring black money and Lokpal and was arrested by Delhi Police along with 5000 supporters, is likely to end his fast today before noon at 11 a.m.

Yesterday, Delhi Police detained Ramdev at Ambedkar Stadium, near ITO along with his supporters and they had spent their night at the detention venue as a makeshift jail, refusing to vacate the stadium.

Today, early morning on the sixth day of his hunger strike, Yoge Guru Ramdev announced that he will end his protesting fast against corruption at 11 am today and promises a big announcement regarding his future course of action today.

As per Sources, after ending his fast today, Ramdev will leave for Haridwar.

“It is not feasible to carry on this movement indefinitely. We will have the next big movement before the Lok Sabha elections,” Yoge icon said while addressing his supporters.

“We will let you know who should be made to win the next Lok Sabha elections. The elections will bring about a major change in the country,” Ramdev further added, opposing Congress in 2014 General Election.

Baba Ramdev who held anti-Congress movement in his fast yesterday told his supporters to create history today by announcing a big statement over his next course of action before noon.

However, reports said, yesterday Ramdev totally refused Delhi Police to leave the Ambedkar stadium; he wanted to hoist the national flag at the Ambedkar stadium on Independence Day tomorrow. But due to problems of accessing food, water and toilets at the stadium, he decided to end fast today, but will continue his movement against corruption.
