Microsoft introduces Office for tablets

As per latest report, the world’s largest software company, Microsoft has launched its next generation Office software facilitates users to experience programs the Internet “cloud” on their popularly demanded tablets and other touchscreen devices.

This latest 15th version of Office offer with upcoming Window 8 OS, is the most ambitious version, offering several advantage of cloud computing by storing documents and settings on the Internet by default, includes Word for documents, as well as programs for other functions.

While announcing launching at a press event in San Francisco, Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer said that Office was designed “from the ground up” to work in harmony with the Windows 8 operating system to be released by Microsoft in October.
“Office is designed to be your modern office,” Ballmer told reporters said. “It incorporates the best of Windows 8, cloud, social, and new scenarios.”

The new Office suite comes with get-go to be a service for people to make projects and share data online, crafted work smoothly and intuitively with touch-screen controls as inroads Doc suite for Apple’s iPad or Google’s Android platform running tablets into the workplace, targeting iPad and the smartphone market.

Presently it is expected that Microsoft is capturing the whole market segments strongly, and Office is its solely biggest profit driver.

Source said, Microsoft acquisitions, including Skype and Yammer, have been integrated into Office package to make it easier for people to communicate and collaborate, launch Internet video calls instantly. The newest version will also link to the online version, a cloud-only subscription service known as Office 365.
