Airing more tensions in Peninsula, North Korea threatened to attack rival South Korea if it entered in a fresh round of tightening UN sanctions against Pyongyang.
“‘Sanctions’ mean a war and a declaration of war against us,” North Korea committee threatening verbal statement, raising clear indication of a physical counter measures, reports said.
Directing its verbal onslaught at its neighbour, North’s Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea warned Seoul not to take part in the UN ‘sanctions.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, North Korean’s front dealings with the South will take strong actions against South, if it joined US sanction, as per committee.
North’s warning is fresh warning focusing Pyongyang’s anger from Washington to Seoul, came just after American’s recently unveiled more economic sanctions following Pyongyang’s rocket launch last month.
Declaring a boycott of all dialogue North has set its goal to push ahead its nuclear program with more rocket and third nuclear tests against U.S., following censorship of its December long-range missile launch by UN Security Council with unanimous decision, media reports said.
Despite amid warning of North to attack U.S. which has much support of Japan and South Korea, US announced a latest round to tighten UN Sanction.
Now toughest challenge is for South who said to have much focus on Security Council resolutions except US sanctions.
