Obama decries reprehensible & disgusting attack on Malala

US President Barack Obama’s statement over the life threatening attack of Taliban on teenage peace activist Pakistani girl Malala Yousufzai, came as termed it reprehensible, disgusting and tragic.

Condemning the shooting and violence at children, Obama has also offered assistance to Pakistan in this regard to offer wounded families.

Talking to media, White House spokesperson Jay Carney said “As part of this offer, the US military has agreed to provide air ambulance and medical treatment at a facility suitable for her condition if it becomes necessary.”

Meanwhile, beside Obama, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and the French embassy in Islamabad has also condemned Taliban’s murder attack on Malala, they also appreciated girl’s brave ambitions.

Describing Taliban attack a cowardly, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised the bravery of girl who is attacked by terrorist because of her strong campaign for the girl’s rights.

“I want to say a few words about a 14-year-old young woman, Malala Yousufzai, who lives in Pakistan, who has been active in speaking out for the right of girls to get an education. She’s even blogged about it,” she said at the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts in the US where she made announcement to Prevent Child Marriage and Promote Girls’ Education across the World.
