Pak violates ceasefire; alleges Indian army killed its soldier

Pakistani troops on Sunday violated ceasefire by firing mortar shells towards Indian army posts at Churunda village in Uri sector near the Line of Control (LoC), an army official said.

The violation ceasefire from Pak triggered tensions between India and Pakistan, resulted a gunfire in Kashmir on Sunday after a period of rapprochement.

Both countries claimed each other as Pakistani army said Indian troops had raided their Sawan Patra checkpost in Kashmir.

One of Pakistani soldiers succumbed to his injuries and two injured in a gunfight across the Line of Control in Kashmir, as per Pakistani army allegation.

Indian military denied the claim and said Indian troops had not crossed the Line of Control, no attack triggered at any Pakistani post.

It added that Pak allegations are seemed to be an attempt to cover up its violation ceasefire on Indian post.
