Once again, the Pakistani blowers are ruling the ODI bowlers top 10 list. The new press release out by the ICC shows Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI bowlers still headed by Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal, followed by teammate Mohammad Hafeez in second place.
However, there have been lots of fluctuations down the list.
In the list, South Africa’s Lonawabo Tsotsobe has moved up a place to third, Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara, who was earlier the 3rd ranked bowler in the world in March 2009, has now jumped up 16 places to sixth spot following his 11 wickets in the series against Australia.
Further, England pacer Steven Finn also gained one position in the list and moved to fifth, Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga break into top 10 and is at 10th position.
Some other international bowlers performing well and gaining points are Kyle Mills in 11th (up by one), Angelo Mathews (up by six) and Xavier Doherty (up by seven) in joint 25th, Rangana Herath in 30th (up by eight), Tim Bresnan in 35th (up by two), James Tredwell in 43rd (up by 57), Ishant Sharma in 50th (up by 17), Nathan McCullum in 52nd (up by eight), Mitchell Starc in 68th (up by three), Bhuvaneshwar Kumar in 73rd (up by 31) and Ryan McLaren in 90th (up by 23).
Further, team India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has also made his place into the list. He moved up by nine places to 56th in the batting and career-best of 8th in the bowler’s list with best ever 663 rating points.
In the all-rounders’ table, Ravindra Jadeja is at fifth position. However, Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez continues to head the all-rounders’ list followed by Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan in second place.
