Parineeti Chopra quits Akshay Kumar`s film for Sushant Singh Rajput

Newcomer actor Ravneer Singh signed films outside the Yash Raj Films banner and his co-stat actress Parineeti Chopra in Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl seems tied down by a binding contract that doesn`t give her the same freedom.

It is said that the actress was very interested in doing the Hindi remake of Tamil superhit film ‘Thuppakki’, directed by A. Murugadoss. In fact, producer Vipul Shah offered the film to the actress.

Meanwhile, actor Akshay Kumar was also very interested to work on this project, but Yash Raj Films won’t allow the actress to do the film, as she is bound by contract.

Therefore, Aditya Chopra refused the actress to do the film and now Parineeti Chopra is shooting for their new film with director Maneesh Sharma opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.

Now, actress Sonakshi Sinha has got the chance to do the film with Akshay Kumar once again. Talking to media, director A. Murugadoss said, “We tried really hard for Parineeti. But she was committed by contract to a project with Yash Raj Films.”
