According to latest political news, a revised visa agreement between India and Pakistan will be introduced on Friday when Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik arrives in India on his three-day long visit.
Giving brief information about Malik’s visit, an official from New Delhi said, “Besides the revised visa agreement, the two countries would also discuss counter-terrorism, border management, fake Indian currency notes and cooperation among security and investigation agencies.”
Further, it is said that the Rehman Malik is likely to hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, National Security Adviser Shiv Shankar Menon, and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj on December 15.
Moreover, the official delegation coming with Malik includes members from interior ministry, foreign ministry, and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) among others.
However, this is Rehman Malik’s first official visit to India.
If talked about Indian panel, Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, his junior R.P.N. Singh and senior officials from home ministry, external affairs ministry and various security agencies will take part in the talks with counterpart delegations.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik will arrive on the invitation by Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.
