Where the telecom operators are in a move to cut tariff for 3G services, to grab the opportunity Research in Motion launched BlackBerry Curve 9320 a 3G-compatible Smartphone in India.
Introducing Curve 9320 much similar to the BlackBerry Curve 9220 launched just a month ago; the Company said that Curve 9320 along with all the core BlackBerry messaging and social-centric features, also offers 3G connectivity.
“The BlackBerry Curve series is extremely popular and successful in India. This new model is designed to make it easy for customers to be socially-connected, and we expect it will be especially popular in the youth segment,” RIM India Managing Director Sunil Dutt told reporters while interacting.
Having the BlackBerry 7.1 operating system, the new Smartphone facilitates a built-in FM radio and a dedicated BBM key. It has a better battery life, able to deliver customers up to 7 hours of talk time.
Little heavier than its 3G-less cousin 9220, Curve 9320 has 103 g weight, but offers better quality imaging with a 3.2 megapixel integrated camera includes a flash and supports video recording,4X digital zoom and Image stabilization feature.
The new 3G Smartphone supports 512 MB memory storage with built in expandable memory up to 32 GB uSD card, 1450 mAh lithium-ion battery, Cisco CCX certification along with high connectivity Wi-Fi access.
RIM’s Curve 9320 that provided all formats of recording such as Audio, Video and Picture formats is available in the Indian Store at the price Rs 15,990.
