As per the latest Bollywood buzz, the famous father-son duo Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor are expected to perform at the 13th IIFA awards for the first time, which is to be held in Singapore.

Meanwhile, there are gossips in the industry as well as in media that the father-son duo will perform in the IIFA Awards scheduled from June 7-9.

However, when asked to son Ranbir Kapoor about their performance in the award function, Ranbir Kapoor chose to play safe saying, “He (Rishi) has been part of IIFA award ceremony. I will be performing… I don’t know.”

The actor said, “I would be performing on Sadda Haq and Tai Tai Phish and there is a surprise.”

Meanwhile, Rishi-Ranbir has not featured in any film together. But they have done an ad together.

This is the first time Ranbir Kapoor is performing at the IIFA awards.

When asked to the actor why he performs so rare in award functions, he said, “It is not that I don’t perform. I did not have the confidence to come on stage and perform. But this time around Prabhu Deva is choreographing… I love his choreography, so I thought why not do it.”

He said, “Prabhu Deva is the dancing star not only of India but of the world. I think he is better than Michael Jackson.”
